Marks and Spencer (M&S) online sales in China grew significantly after partnering Alibaba’s Tmall.

  • The online sales made via M&S's Tmall account for 50% of M&S's apparel sales in China and a quarter of the online sales originate from Greater Shanghai shoppers.
  • M&S mentioned as part of its  three year international expansion plan that it is looking for a local partner to further develop its operations in China.
